I do apologise for the state of my website, as I haven’t touched or updated it since I moved to Scotland back in 2020.
Rick discovered his passion for photography in 2009, when his father gave him a camera, that he used to take pictures of his brother motor racing. Despite the difficulty of capturing high quality photographs of racers at extreme velocities,
Rick found he had a talent for it, and so started a hobby that would later develop into a career.
Rick graduated from the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam in 2017. During his studies, he did a 5-month internship in Aruba, where he learned the techniques necessary to shoot weddings in paradisiac surroundings. This was followed by a 4-month internship in London, where his focus was divided between shooting weddings and fashion events.
Some of Rick’s predominant traits are his patience, perfectionism and attention to detail. Though he maintains an interest in areas of photography such as family shoots, dance, sports and landscape, he specialises in wedding and newborn photography, as he is passionate about representing what he feels to be some of the most important and memorable moments in people’s lives.
